firefox-gray I'm finally back with the swatches I promised for the new cosmetics I did a haul on. Let's get started right away. Up first is the Katie B Cosmetics swatches. firefox-gray Hi Everyone, I'm back with another update. Today I had 4 Updos and 3 Makeup. The bridal party was pleasant to work with so it made my job much easier. The wedding started at 1pm, so I arrived at the hotel a few minutes before 7am. First I worked on the flower girl. She wanted to leave her hair down and have curls. I did some spiral curls for her. She loved her curls.

firefox-gray I hope everyone has a great Father's Day. I had another wedding gig on Saturday, I did 2 hair and 3 makeup. The wedding party was fun to work with, everyone was relaxed and nice. Here is the hair I did for the bride's best friend. She is from Hawaii so the Orchids in her hair really accentuate that. She is a very pretty girl. We did a curls and did a down do.

firefox-gray Hi Everyone, Sorry I've been so busy. I am still in the process of looking for a salon to work at. I would have gotten a position in this one salon, but I didn't like how they said if I worked there I need to allow them to cut my hair short and color whichever way they like. I believe every hairstylist should be able to express themselves. As long as I come into work looking presentable, I should be able to work. It's hard finding a salon who is looking for someone part time. I wanted to start off part time because I know it takes a while to build up the clientele. I have way too much loans and bills to take that risk of not making enough each week. Hopefully the right position will come along.

firefox-gray I decided to do a False Eyelash tutorial for everyone. I know there's many tutorial out there, but this is what works for me. Products used: Lashes bought from Taiwan. Lash glue purchased from Katie B Cosmetics (I love this product, drying time is fast and isn't goo-ee like other adhesive.) Direction: 1. Trim lashes to fit your eyes. 2. Bend and shape your lashes so it can better fit the curve of your eyes. 3. Squeeze out adhesive onto a small object such as toothpick, tweezers, end of rat tail comb.

firefox-gray Moroccan Oil has been mentioned in almost every beauty magazine you've read. What is this? The luxury brand, Moroccanoil®, is the originator and leading manufacturer of professional Argan Oil hair products and the fastest growing independent company in the professional salon industry. A powerful antioxidant and UV protector, Moroccanoil’s proprietary Argan oil blend is rich in vitamins and natural elements that fortify the hair, including Vitamin F (Omega 6), Vitamin A to improve elasticity, Vitamin E to protect against free-radicals, and Phenols to shield against environmental stressors.

firefox-gray Let me first get started by saying I am now a LICENSED COSMETOLOGIST. I'm so excited that after 2 years of school I am finally able to get started on my career. I am in the process of finding a salon to work at. I did land a position that will allow me to do bridal and formal makeup and updos. My first gig is June 12th, photos will be posted after that event. Since I will be doing a lot of bridal makeup, I wanted to purchase some softer eyeshadow color.
